Chief Executive Officer
Cheryl Dalton has been the CEO of South Burnett Care since 2013. She has an extensive background (over 30 years) in business management with a focus on finance, quality and people management. Throughout her career, Cheryl has worked in consultative roles focusing on Quality Assurance and has a long history of community work through both Board memberships and employment in community service and business management roles. Cheryl maintains longstanding memberships of many community committees including the Queensland Resource Operating Plan Panel, Department of Natural Resources and Mines Panel, Darling Downs Hospital board member and former chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and current member of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committees. Cheryl served as a Councillor for the South Burnett Regional Council area for 5 terms, further developing her already high-level strategic management and governance skills.
Chief Operations Manager
Theresa Jensen has worked at South Burnett Care since 2013 and currently holds the role of Chief Operations Manager. Previously, Theresa had been the manager of Barambah Accommodation Support Service in Wondai for 7 years. Theresa is responsible for all the aged care programs provided by South Burnett Care including Home care packages, CHSP services, fee for service (brokerages) as well as the NDIS planning service. She is also involved in the payroll & roster approvals sector. She also has a Certificate IV in Disability work and Certificate in Case Management. Theresa enjoys being involved in the Executive team and taking the role of acting CEO when required.
Rachael Kopp is the Finance Manager at South Burnett Care. She is responsible for the overall financial functions of South Burnett Care across multiple programs as well as day to day finances. Rachael is passionate about financially focusing on South Burnett Care and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She gets fulfilment out of knowing that she has contributed to South Burnett Care in knowing that she is helping in a small way to enable our clients to live their lives their own way and achieve their goals.
Disability Services Manager
Leesa Osborne is the Disability Services Manager at South Burnett Care , she has worked within the community services sector since 2005. She is responsible for providing NDIS services to South Burnett Care clients. Leesa holds a Diploma of Disability, Diploma in Mental Health, Alcohol & Other Drugs, Diploma of Employment Services, Certificate IV Trainer & Assessor and Certificate IV Lifestyle and Leisure (Diversional Therapy). She is also a registered assessor with the National Panel of Assessors to conduct supported wage assessments, her wide variety of training helps her to active fantastic outcomes for South Burnett Care clients.
Disability Services Team Manager
Cameron Donohue is the Disability Services Team Manager at South Burnett Care. Cameron is responsible for delivering NDIS services to customers that South Burnett Care supports throughout North & South Burnett, Fraser Coast and Toowoomba regions. Cameron has 20 years of history within the customer and community focused service area. He currently holds a Diploma in Child & Youth Family Intervention, Diploma in Mental Health, Specialising in Alcohol & Other Drugs, Certificate in Employment Services and Education Support. Cameron’s wide variety of training/education helps him to achieve fantastic outcomes for South Burnett Care clients.
Aged Care Manager
Lexie Dowling is the Aged Care Manager at South Burnett Care. Lexie is responsible for the home care packages and CHSP services. She works with clients and their cares to help them meet their goals. She has over 8 years’ experience within the community sector (Aged Care and Disability), she also holds a Certificate IV in Aged Care, Disability, Business Administration, Frontline Management and Case Management.
Centre Programs Manager
Jenny Gemmell is the Centre Programs Manager at South Burnett Care. Jenny is responsible for managing the centre and group programs for the aged care and disabled in the following centres: Kingaroy, Yarraman, Wondai and Toowoomba. Jenny supports her teams by working with the clients to ensure the tailored programs are delivered effectively and efficiently in a relaxed and happy environment / approach.
Ron Reeve is the Asset Manager at South Burnett Care, he has worked with South Burnett Care since 2012. Ron is responsible for the coordination of aged and disability home maintenance programs as well as assisting package mangers to deliver services to clients. He manages routine and break down maintenance for South Burnett Care assets, including buildings, vehicles and assistance with planning / delivery of new buildings and renovations. Ron is a motor mechanic by trade, working at the local garage and serving in the Australian Airforce before coming to work with South Burnett Care.
Administration and Food Services Manager
Jackie Raine is the Food Service Manager at South Burnett Care. She is responsible for the ‘Home Delivered Meals' sector. This includes coordination of the Kitchen Team from preparation, packaging and overseeing the delivery of the meals is completed in a warm and friendly manner to all clients. Jackie joined South Burnett Care as she enjoys providing excellent customer service as well as leading and coaching team members to work together towards a common goal and objective.
