Cheryl Dalton

Chief Executive Officer

Cheryl has performed the role of Chief Executive Officer with South Burnett Care for the past seven years and has extensive governance experience gained through sixteen years’ service as a local government Councillor. Cheryl also serves as a member of the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service Board, is an active representative on their Board Audit and Risk and Board Quality and Safety Committees, and is a long standing member of the Department of Natural Resources and Mines Panel. Cheryl has in excess of thirty years’ business management experience through her family agribusiness ventures and maintains an active role as a Managing Director in a variety of agricultural enterprises. Cheryl’s involvement in a wide range of community ventures - including currently acting as the Patron of the South Burnett Autism Support Group – continue a long-standing history of service and commitment to local endeavours.

Theresa Jensen

Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Theresa has worked with South Burnett Care since 2013 and has a background in the Disability Services and the Human Services sectors, as well as operating a family owned agricultural business for over thirty years. Theresa’s involvement with our organisation dates back to 2006 through execution of the role of Supported Accommodation Manager in Wondai and now serves in the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Theresa is responsible for supporting the Chief Executive Officer through to Executive responsibilities with the Aged Care Portfolio. Theresa holds a Certificate IV in Disability Work along with qualifications in Case Management.

Cameron Donohue

NDIS Services Team Manager

Cameron is the NDIS Services Team Manager and has been with the organisation since 2018. Cameron is responsible for overseeing the delivery of NDIS services to customers throughout our service regions. Cameron has over twenty years’ experience in customer and community services, including working in mental health and employment services. Cameron holds a Diploma in Child and Youth Family Intervention and a Diploma in Mental Health as well as Certificates in Employment Services and Education Support. Cameron has a passion and a connection to the local area, having lived in the South Burnett most of his life. Cameron maintains long-standing community involvement with local not-for-profit committees, with a particular interest in regional sporting bodies.
