Social Support / Community Access
We can help you to 'keep in touch' and stay connected to the community.
Do you need help?
- To do the shopping
- To get to appointments
- To go to meetings or contacts
Do you need someone to just come to your home for a social visit, or to help write letters, Christmas or birthday cards or just to make sure that you are okay when you are not feeling well?
We can help you to do the things that you have always done and to support you at home.

In Home Respite
Our staff will care for the person in their home whilst the carer has 'time off'.
The carer can have a sleep, go shopping, attend meetings, appointments etc.
Our staff aim to give the carer support which allows 'time off', knowing that the one they care for is safe and happy.
Home Maintenance / Helping Hand
Our staff would like to see you stay in your own home, but sometimes that means that you might need a bit of 'manpower' to handle the routine maintenance around your home.
Our staff can give help with home maintenance such as:
- Mowing lawns (standard 1/4 acre block only)
- Rubbish removal
- Changing smoke alarm batteries
- Changing light bulbs and fluoro tubes
- Changing tap washers
We can also give you assistance with the installation of grab rails.
Our staff also provide free information about employing a tradesperson and obtaining other specialist help.

Carers Support
At SBcare we know that if you care for someone, it can become very demanding both physically and emotionally. Carers sometimes can become lonely and distressed.
SBcare services is designed to assist and support carers by 'Sharing the Caring'.
This is important when you need a break, so we encourage you to seek assistance before a crisis situation develops.
Carers can be assured that we will take good care of the one you love.
We aim to get to know them so that we can meet their needs.
